Who are we ?

25 years of experience !

With its solid background of 25 years of experience in aeronautical training, Cannes Aviation trains pilots in France to the highest European levels of skills and efficiency.

Cannes Aviation, integrated ATP session

Whether you want to become an airline pilot, a commercial pilot, or simply a private pilot, we will strive to support your success with the twin requirements of quality and safety. Becoming a pilot demands more and more rigour and technical skills which have to be perfectly mastered. We’ll help you learn how to master these skills in the context of a high-tech environment which still manages to be both friendly and supportive.

The only professional school approved by the DGAC in the Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur region (N° FR ATO 0073), Cannes Aviation also offers modular courses and, since 2009, an integrated Student Airline Pilot’s training - ATP\[A] integrated, in compliance with the part FCL European norm – run over 2 years, taught entirely in English, through its main Cannes Aviation Academy branch.

A teaching team made up of professional pilot instructors

Flying school Cannes Aviation ATO has at its core a team of 14 people, 10 of whom are highly-qualified instructors, most of them also operating on jets. They are tasked with the theoretical teaching, on the ground, and the practice, in flight, as well as the guidance and coaching of each and every student so as to ensure an individualised rate of progress and the success of each one.

    Cannes Aviation secure extranet
Cannes Aviation, integrated ATP session, pilot students ground course
    Cannes Aviation club house
All of the courses take place on the premises of Cannes Aviation.
With 400 sqm of classroom space and 1,500 sqm of adjacent hangars, these premises, which were recently refurbished, are perfectly suited to technical teaching and for flight preparation.
The theoretical lessons are given with the aid of multi-media lesson supports. The individual classrooms for on-the-ground training are all equipped with computers, as so the group classrooms, which are also fitted with multi-media projectors. Students also have a study area freely available to them, it, too, equipped with PCs. Free Internet Wi-Fi access. Students have free access to a catalogue of educational material and an aviation library.

Flight reservations (for aircraft / instructors) are made online via the organisation's secure intranet using dedicated planning software.

Each student has a secure progression e-booklet, which is updated and managed by the teaching and administrative staff.

Finally, a club house with a cafeteria is available to students so that they can eat on-site, enjoy relaxing moments and of course celebrate their successes at the various flight tests with their friends, all in a friendly atmosphere.
